Lee Funeral Home was established in by John and Margaret Lee. Soon the site was expanded to accommodate a growing business and in 1972, Lee Funeral Home – Cupar, with Edwin Schulhauser serving as our Cupar agent, was established. In 1974, Lee Funeral Home was sold to John Lipp, who owned and operated Lee Funeral Home until 1982, at which time he sold the funeral home to the Loewen Group Inc. In 1992, Unser-Rist Funeral Home was begun and in 1995, Lee Funeral Home, Helmsing Funeral Chapel and Speers Funeral Chapel entered into a joint venture to establish Community Crematorium Services Ltd. Lee Funeral Home and Crematorium joined SCI Canada in 2007 and received accreditation to become a Dignity Memorial Funeral provider in the following year - a status in which we are very proud of.
