History of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home
Woodlawn has been a trusted name in funeral service since 1891. The original Woodlawn was located in New Westminster, and locations were added in Chilliwack and Abbotsford in 1970 and in Mission in 1983. Woodlawn-Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, in Chilliwack, was extensively renovated in 1990.
At Woodlawn-Mt. Cheam, our commitment to the families we serve has remained unchanged and yet our funeral home and cremation service have always responded to the changing needs of our community.
We are now proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of more than 1,600 funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. When you choose a Dignity Memorial provider, you not only receive the compassionate care you expect from a locally-operated establishment, but also the value you deserve from the largest and most trusted network of funeral, cremation and memorialization services.
All of our services are designed to help our client families through one of the most personal and challenging stages of life. We understand losing a loved one is an emotional and difficult experience, and we are committed to helping families with compassionate, professional and personal service.
To this day, the people of Woodlawn-Mt. Cheam strive to ensure that the families they serve are treated with compassion and dignity, with respect for their wishes and financial circumstances.
